AS/ONE RESPITE CARE

As/One proposes to support the community by offering a network of respite options to families and their at-risk 12-18 year old teens. The respite recommended will be offered to all family members needing the chance to relax and get a break from the stress of daily life.

As/One will provide teens with "positive redirection" by developing individual plans to explore leisure activities through recreation and provide responsible ways to fulfill court-ordered restitution.

The As/One goal is to give teens who are at risk at home, school or in the community, a chance to successfully learn social skills and get career development tools and the guidance needed for success.

As/One's respite care options will take place in a variety of community settings and be available to those who need emotional safety during times of crisis intervention.
